The LanzAbility Core Team: Ayo Ogunrekun, Laura Timm, Sina Stehr and Crazy DAVID (David Penney) in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
Meet the Team Behind LanzAbility
At LanzAbility, we create inclusive, barrier-free travel experiences that allow EVERYONE to enjoy the beauty of Lanzarote and beyond. Since our journey began three years ago, we’ve been dedicated to empowering people with various disabilities to explore this fascinating island on their own terms.
But behind every seamless booking, personalised itinerary, and unforgettable adventure is a team of passionate individuals who make it all happen.
Meet the amazing people who bring LanzAbility to life.

Crazy DAVID
Founder and Chief Doer
As a creative director, Scott A few lines could never do justice to David—how he earned his nickname, his relentless drive, and the vision that led to the creation of LanzAbility. Read the full story of David and LanzAbility here.
Ayo
Chief Techie and Online Wizard
Ayo’s expertise powers everything behind the scenes. Born in Lagos, before he moved to The UK almost two decade ago to escape the heat but now can't resist frequent visits to Lanzarote to dodge the cold. Ayo keeps our tech running smoothly from our website to the booking system, and even graphic design. With him on board, we’re always one step ahead in creating accessible and user-friendly experiences.

Laura
Our Multilingual Content Creator and PR Manager
Born in Germany, but with a soul that’s travelled far and wide, Laura has called places like England, the Caribbean, and Tenerife home. She’s the creative brain behind our social media, blog articles, website content, and PR. Her ability to connect with people in three languages (English, German and Spanish) ensures that LanzAbility’s message reaches the right people.
Sina
The Heart of LanzAbility
If empathy had a name, it would be Sina. Originally from Germany and now a long-time Lanzarote local, Sina brings a wealth of experience in tourism and cruise ships. As one of our most popular chaperones, she ensures blind and visually impaired guests feel safe, welcome, and cared for.
Beyond her caregiving, Sina designs curated itineraries and programmes like our Sensory Programme, helping guests engage fully with Lanzarote’s unique sounds, textures, tastes, and scents. Her dedication makes every experience unforgettable.
